BEN DAVISON MASTERCLASS

Ben Davison is a British boxing coach, founder of the Ben Davison Performance Centre and coach to the current WBA (regular) featherweight champion, Leigh Wood.

His sharp ascent to the forefront of the British boxing scene has largely been attributed to the role he played in bringing the ‘Gypsy King’, Tyson Fury from the brink of personal destruction. Whilst living with Fury, Davison helped the current WBC shed over 100lbs and return to fighting shape with their partnership culminating in a controversial draw against Deontay Wilder.

Davison however had been in boxing for a lot longer than the spotlight suggested. Following in his father's foot-steps he also took up amateur boxing at a young age, but switched it out for a semi-professional football career. A long time friendship with former middle and super-middle weight world champion Billy Joe Saunders led to Ben’s first foray into the professional boxing ranks.

Since then he has guided Josh Taylor to 140lb undisputed status, assisted in Devin Haney’s route to undisputed at light-weight as well as collecting domestic titles across the board with his burgeoning stable of upcoming talent.

Needless to say he’s a man in high demand….
